The popular South Shore beach is Hanauma Bay Nature Park.   It is located about ten miles east of Waikiki.  Allow 25-30 minutes drive from Waikiki to Hanauma Bay.  Return times are flexible please call us if you want to change your return time.  Reservations fill up fast so the earlier the better

Who can snorkel? Swimmer of all ages.

What equipment you need have? You don't have to worry because Nelson's Snorkel took care of it for you.  Just enjoy Fun & Easy! If the mask don't fit try to adjusting the straps, our staff will help you with that.  A snorkel, mask and fins are all you need to enter Hanauma Bay, best snorkeling spot.

     Snorkel Safety Tips:

• We are always welcome just come and enjoy. You are first time for snorkeling and first time to use snorkel set, we will show you how to use it, it is easy to learn just take you a few minutes. 

• You must be able to clear your mask and snorkel while swimming or treading water.

• Stay off wet sand and rocks.  Strong currents near shore are the most frequent and dangerous hazards.
  

• If you feel uncomfortable in the deep water, tell your partner then both swim calmly toward the closest edge of the bay, if you travel alone, you don't have experience swimming you can wear floatation vest, it available from Nelson's Snorkel Tours.

• Always swim or snorkel with a buddy.  Never snorkel alone.
• Never turn your back to the ocean.

• Parents should accompany children on all ledge walks.

• Whenever possible snorkel in the morning is the best.  Fish are more active in the morning, and afternoon winds make wate clarity less than ideal.
